Fed up with waiting for George "Happy Feet" Miller to stop dicking about with cartoons and get back to the serious business of continuing the Mad Max saga, we decided to take matters into our own hands.

Enlisting the help of Ford's ridiculously talented design team, we asked for two new Interceptors, one of which, we reckon, should be used in the fourth installment of the film franchise. What we got back exceeded our wildest expectations. And scared us just a little bit.

The Brookliner (Simon Brook)

This is the Brookliner. Designed by Ford's Simon brook, the Interceptor concept is a true homage to the car of old. There's no futuristic weaponry, like crazy laser beams or invisibility cloaks. Instead it features hub-less wheels with centres that pop out at high speeds, tearing enemy wheels to pieces.

Oh, and its engine is a nuclear powerplant. Seriously.

The Nimachine (Nima Nourian)

And this not-so-shiny beast is the Nimachine, designed by Nima Nourian.

It’s fair to say he wanted his car’s weapons to be a little more cutting edge. Like the gigantic, industrial strength taser hanging off the front grille. Ready to fry enemies – and maybe a couple of parking inspectors – at will.

It is a shame none was not an option. So, the world and society has collapsed, and we are going to have a car that is very high tech and very high maintenance?
Did I miss something here?
I guess this is a good way to make thunderdome look good. Maybe as a prequel, but even that would be a stretch. Since the original director died, this franchise went to the dogs. So will this max be going to hospital and visiting old people since the last one in dome babysat children?
Sorry, I am very cynical about ruining the only movie I care for.

Way too pretty for Mad Max. It'll be a tough sell without 'ol Jew hatin' Mel. Wow, I guess it'll be a tough sell even with the Jew hater!

Not post Apocolypse vehicles in any way, shape, or form. Missed the target by lightyears this time.

and it's not Mad Max without Mel. Fail.
