The release date for Dragon Ball z Ulitmate Tenkaichi has been set for October 25th 2011 in stores across North America and the 28th in Europe

Vice President of Marketing at NAMCO BANDAI Games America, Carlson Choi had a few words to share about the brand new Dragon Ball Z game, saying…

“Fans of the Dragon Ball series of games are among the most passionate gamers and anime experts in the world,” ... “That’s why we reached out to them through our social channels and forums last month to find out what the name should be for the deepest, richest and most intense Dragon Ball game yet. The fans have spoken, and today we’re happy to announce that Dragon Ball Z Ultimate Tenkaichi will be hitting stores across the country this October.”

There have been so many DBZ Games that even Namco Bandai have even run out of ideas. But I am sure that that wont stop them from making more games in the future.

The upcoming Dragon Ball Z Ultimate Tenkaichi is currently in development by Spike Co. Ltd. The game features upgraded environmental and character graphics, with designs drawn from the original manga series. Destructible battlefields, including massive craters and ki blasts cutting across the sky deliver a more dynamic experience and immediate sense of urgency to the exhilarating fights. An enhanced story mode drops players into the rich Dragon Ball Z universe, filled with beloved characters and powerful enemies. An accessible battle system allows gamers of all ages to hold their own in fast-paced battles, while still retaining tactical depth for hardcore fans.

I'm not a fan of the character models in this game, they should of stuck with the same models from the first raging blast game or at least raging blast two.

This doesn't seem that much different.

is it too much to ask that they put the gt characters in too??

I wish that they would put more of the GT characters into the game too. I never saw much of the GT series, partly because I "outgrew" the cartoon by the time they were released in the U.S., but it would be nice to play through some of the story.

My major gripe is them using what I am assuming are the "Dragonball Z Kai" voices in the game, but I can understand since they are trying to keep things current with the remastered stuff.
