But that doesn't explain why Batman has a light sabre up there in, the second picture.

Hey DukeAcureds, JackyTimish -I don't think thats a light sabre or glow rope in the second picture. It looks like someone is shooting at him with laser and batman is avoiding the laser. See his right hand closely..All his fingers are outstretched rather than gripping! Moreover his normal grappling rope is at the left side.

Atleast thats what I think!:)

Year One was alright but, could have been so much more epic. That is the only reason I am kinda meh about this.

Pux@ Coke, smokes and better voice performances (Gordon and Dushku were good, though, But Wayne was terrible).
And well done, guys, it looks like a Star Wars crossover is NOT being shoehorned into the Dark Knight Returns, after all. Quick witted bunch, aren't you?

Oh the "I shall become a bat" line. Still can't believe they got rid of that. One of the most quoted Batman lines ever! Right up there with "I'm Batman" and "Face it, tiger you just hit the..."... no... wait...

@Pux being exactly like the comics doesnt mean it'll work on film though, Year One pales in comparison to Red Hood. It somehow felt a bit wooden to me.

@JackyTimish but the DC universe DOES revolve around Batman, that's why his continuity is still intact and there are so many Bat books. Superman fell off somewhere along the way. Take away Batman from DC and they are screwed, take away Wonder Woman...oh well.

The problem isn't that people are supporting stuff like this, the problem is that people aren't showing enough support for the other characters. At the moment Aquaman and Wonder Woman are excellent and should be topping the charts.
