Next Week's "Wolverine-centric" ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN Ep Replaced With....Frog Thor?

The May 20th episode of Marvel's most controversial (and hated?) show, Ultimate Spider-man, which was dubbed "Freaky" has been replaced by "Field Trip"

While "freaky" revolves around Wolverine and spider-man accidentally switching bodies, "Field trip" takes the shield teen heroes to asgard to battle loki and help Thor, who was changed to a frog, regain his original form.

Below is disneyXD's summary of the May 20th episode "Field Trip":

Field Trip: When a simple class field trip leads Spider-Man and his fellow teen super heroes into an Asgardian adventure, they may be the only hope for Thor to stop his brother, Loki, from taking the throne of Asgard, in a new episode of Ultimate Spider-Man, Sunday, May 20 (11:00 -11:30 a.m., ET/PT) on Marvel Universe on Disney XD.

The reason of such change are unknown, but they might be due to the Avengers Movie success, pushing show runners to show kids Thor and Loki in their Ultimate Spider-man animated form.

I was wondering when the Thor episode was going to happen. Sucks that he'll probably be a frog for most of the episode, though. This show is way too silly to be good.

This show just keeps getting worse...Thor as a frog...ummmm...no thanks. The hulk episode was terrible too. Hulk's design was bad, the cloverfield-esc direction they took that episode just didn't work for me and too many jokes at the wrong time continues to be a distraction.

@spideysense ..totally agree..even though this is aimed @ a younger group..the constant jokes makes you feel like you lost the story..

the hulk one was annoying to watch..my 12 yr old thought the same

You all do realize that this show is targeted for little kids right? They aren't doing it for adults or teens this show is for little kids hence why its so silly.

Why are people acting like Thor has never been turned into a frog in the comics?

Earths Mightest Heroes is a great show and it may be replaced by a better Avengers show. Ultimate Spiderman is quite entertaining to me.

Oh, and looking forward to Sunday's episode as well, (not ultimate spidey, just avengers)/

You contradicted yourself.

People have the right to like Ultimate Spider-Man, you cant just bash their opinions and state the show is officially shit because you and a lot of other people think so. That's called being dogmatic, which a lot people here suffer from.

I think Ultimate Spider-Man is great, that is my right, you think it's bad, that is your right. Learn to respect people's opinions.
