Anime fans have been arguing the superior merits of various Shōnen heroes for years and it looks like later this year, two of the most popular heroes will go head-to-head. In "Dream 9 Toriko & One Piece & Dragon Ball Z Chō Collaboration Special!!", an hour long television special set to air April 7th, Goku, Toriko and Luffy will compete in a showdown titled 'Tenkaichi Shokuōkai" which could determine which manga's protagonist is the strongest. Also set to appear in the special are:
Dragon Ball Z: Goku, Gohan, Goten, Trunks, Kame Sennin, Android No. 18, Vegeta, Piccolo, Krilin, Announcer, Mr. Satan
One Piece: Luffy, Nami, Chopper, Sanji, Zoro, Franky, Robin, Usopp
Toriko: Toriko, Sunny, Zebra, Coco (the "Four Heavenly King" Gourmet Hunters), Komatsu, Rin, Setsuno
