Madhouse is set to premiere the anime this October. One-Punch Man is a manga series written by ONE with art from Yuusuke Murata that revolves around the titular hero, Saitama and his everyday life as a superhero. In his quest to become strong, Saitama trained to such an extent that he can defeat any enemy with just one punch. The drawback to having such power is that Saitama is now bored beyond tears that he doesn't have a worthy opponent. Director Shingo Natsume (Space Dandy) will be directing the series while Chikashi Kubota (Gurren Lagann, Space Dandy) will design the characters. Makoto Furukawa (Aldnoah.Zero) will voice Saitama in the anime series, while Kaito Ishikawav(Golden TIme, Terraformars) will voice Genos.
