News first surfaced on an anime adaptation of One-Punch Man earlier this month with a second report stating that it would premiere later this year in October.  Now, we have details on the anime studio and staff that will be working on the project.  Madhouse, the studio behind great anime series such as Hunter x Hunter and Batman: Gotham Knight among others, is the Japanese animation studio shepherding the project. Director Shingo Natsume (Space Dandy) will be directing the series while Chikashi Kubota (Gurren Lagann, Space Dandy) will design the characters.

One-Punch Man is a manga series written by ONE with art from Yuusuke Murata that revolves around the titular hero, Saitama and his everyday life as a superhero.  In his quest to become strong, Saitama trained to such an extent that he can defeat any enemy with just one punch.  The drawback to having such power is that Saitama is now bored beyond tears that he doesn't have a worthy opponent.  Joining Saitama on his adventures is his android disciple, Genos, who is looking to find the secret to Saitma's strength so that he can complete his own personal mission.  Makoto Furukawa (Aldnoah.Zero) will voice Saitama in the anime series, while  Kaito Ishikawav(Golden TIme, Terraformars) will voice Genos.

One-Punch Man's anime adaptation is reportedly set to premire this October.
