From Jackson on joining the upcoming adaptation during a recent interview:

“After [RoboCop], I’m going to do this live-action version of Kite, the Japanese anime. I’ll be doing a live-action version of that in Johannesburg.”

Kite centers around the story of a young girl whose parents are brutally murdered, and after the tragic event, she is then trained to be an assassin by two crooked detectives. The film has no release date as of yet, so stay tuned to CBM for more.

Kite is tight, but the subject matter is incredibly inappropriate as dickbelt has said.

The action was badass, but its one of those cult black market classics

Yeah, I can't really imagine this adaptation to be too close to the scource material. Mostly for the reasons dickbelt stated.

But it's good to know that Sam Jackson is still trying to be in every movie ever! :D
