While under promotional duties for Annie, Bobby Cannavale talked briefly with Screen Crush about his role as Paxton in Ant-Man. "Well, that was cool," said the actor when asked essentially what made him agree to join the "Phase Two" Marvel adaptation. "And that was, again, another personal situation for me. Paul Rudd and I, you know, he’s one of my best friends—and he’s playing Ant-Man! It’s the weirdest thing in the world. We used to play cards for 50 cents a hand when we had no money at the same time, and here he is playing Ant-Man. He called me up and he’s like, 'Dude, they want you to play this part. You should come out. It’s just me and you in all of the scenes.' It was kind of easy for me to do." Cannavale then confirmed that his Ant-Man character is one of Scott Lang's buddy in the Peyton Reed-directed movie. Perhaps, he is one of the three other ex-cons that rapper/actor Clifford "T.I." Harris mentioned. What do you think?

Armed with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, con-man Scott Lang must embrace his inner-hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym, protect the secret behind his spectacular Ant-Man suit from a new generation of towering threats. Against seemingly insurmountable obstacles, Pym and Lang must plan and pull off a heist that will save the world. Directed by Peyton Reed, Ant-Man stars Paul Rudd, Michael Douglas, Corey Stoll, Evangeline Lilly, David Dastmalchian, Michael Pena, Bobby Cannavale, Abby Ryder Fortson, Judy Greer, Wood Harris John Slattery and Gregg Turkington with multi-hyphenate T.I., and the film opens July 17, 2015
