Evangeline Lilly Compares ANT-MAN Director Peyton Reed To Peter Jackson

Like most fans, we know that Evangeline Lilly was sceptical about remaining part of the Ant-Man cast after Edgar Wright's departure, but she talks here about replacement Peyton Reed and even compares his vision to that of Peter Jackson's (The Hobbit). Check it out!

"He was a delight," Evangeline Lilly told IGN Movies when asked what it's been like to work with Yes Man director Peyton Reed on Ant-Man. "He actually in some ways reminded me a bit of Peter [Jackson]. He had a fantastic sense of humour, was extremely immersed in the comic world all his life, is a big fan-boy but also extremely strong in his vision." There's been a lot of scepticism about Reed, especially after he was something of a last-minute replacement for original helmer Edgar Wright (who had been attached to direct since 2006 before departing earlier this year). Lilly however doesn't think fans should be worried! "He knew what he needed, and he knew if we had it or if we didn’t have it, and it’s such a huge luxury as an actor to know that your director really knows what he wants. He knows when he’s got it and he knows when to move on. I feel like we’re in really good hands." What do you guys think of these comments? Sound off below!
