Last week, Michael Douglas received the 69th George Eastman Award in Rochester, NY.  Past winners include Charlie Chaplin, Gregory Peck, Audrey Hepburn, Joan Crawford, Gary Cooper and Meryl Streep.

“The George Eastman House International Museum of Photography & Film houses one of the largest collections of restored films in the world; the second largest collection of photographs in the States and every type of still and motion picture camera ever made. I saw stills from my own movies and Kirk's movies that I had never seen before and had a chance to watch a film in an old fashioned Mutoscope machine.”
 


 

 
Last month, Michael Douglas also met with Stan Lee, and shared a picture of a sketch that Stan Lee drew for him of Spider-Man.
 

 
Michael Douglas, the American actor and producer, winner of four Golden Globes, including the Cecil B. DeMille Award, two Academy Awards, as producer of 1975's Best Picture, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest and as Best Actor in 1987 for his role as Gordon Gekko in Wall Street.  Douglas has also played incredible and unforgettable roles in films like The Game, Wonder Boys, Traffic and Falling Down. Douglas received the AFI Life Achievement Award in 2009.
 
Adding to this impressive list of achievements, Douglas will be portraying Hank Pym in the upcoming Marvel Studios adaptation of Ant-Man.
