AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY First Trailer Reportedly Leaks Online; Possible First Look At [SPOILER] Surfaces

It's being widely reported that the first Avengers: Doomsday teaser trailer has leaked online, and we have a description along with a possible screenshot featuring a big return.

UPDATE: The trailer has now leaked in its entirety. You can check it out here.

While Marvel Studios has yet to officially announce its plans for the four Avengers: Doomsday teaser trailers, a low-res version of the sneak peek has leaked—a "camrip," in other words—and we may have a screenshot from it!

While we haven't watched the trailer ourselves, we have spoken with several reliable people who claim to have seen it. As a result, we can say with some certainty that the image below may indeed be the real deal.

Apparently, the first of these teasers puts the spotlight on the returning Chris Evans as Steve Rogers. More of an extended clip than a traditional "teaser," it opens with the former Captain America riding a motorcycle and arriving at the house we last saw at the end of Avengers: Endgame

Steve gets off his bike, picks up and looks at his old Captain America uniform inside, and instead decides to pick up his infant son. The brief teaser ends with "Steve Rogers Will Return In Avengers: Doomsday," along with a countdown to the movie's release.

"I talk to [Robert Downey Jr. and the Russos] all the time," Evans said earlier this year. "It's where Pedro [Pascal] is right now. I mean, it's sad to be away. It's sad to not be back with the band, but I'm sure they're doing something incredible, and I'm sure it's going to be that much harder when it comes out, and you feel like you weren't invited to the party."

It seems he's been going to the Andrew Garfield school of fibbing to fans, though we can't fault the MCU veteran for not wanting to spoil the surprise. Unfortunately, by not officially releasing this teaser, Disney and Marvel Studios have facilitated Evans' return being ruined by blurry leaks that are slowly starting to flood social media.

Check out this possible leaked image from Avengers: Doomsday below.

Looks like a pretty real film lens not AI animation. Apparently AI probability detected 0%

@XelCorp - Yeah but it said that for this Thunderbolts poster lol:

AI detectors are program looking for certain things. I'll bet if you get an AI image get it flagged by a detector and then adjust the image accordingly it will pass.

But the human eye and the human brain sees everything.

ObserverIO - 12/15/2025, 12:28 PM
@XelCorp - But yeah my human eye agrees, the leaked Doomsday image doesn't look AI.

@ObserverIO - This isn't AI. This is photoshop. There's a huge difference.
ObserverIO
ObserverIO - 12/15/2025, 2:01 PM
@JackDeth - You sure? Ais got a certain look that photoshop doesn't have. Look at their faces, those look distinctly AI. Photoshop would use their real faces.
ObserverIO
ObserverIO - 12/15/2025, 2:03 PM
And by real faces I mean the ones on their actual heads, not just using images of their real faces as reference to create a new image. I realize how weird these times are that we're living in that I have to specify that lol.

It’s real. MCU needs Steve and Tony, the heart and soul of the MCU. Getting rid of both in Endgame was a big mistake (Steve deserves a happy ending but not until the MCU officially ends it’s run).

@Bucky74 - Disagree.....Steves ending was perfect. Leave it alone.

@JobinJ - Thinking Captain America's time is over at MARVEL is nutty as squirrel 💩!!!

I know they can come up with a suitable solution that brings him into the fold without taking away the beautiful conclusion.
Bucky74
Bucky74 - 12/15/2025, 11:32 AM
@JobinJ - I love his ending too. But There are way too many stories to tell with Steve left and too many other heroes he never really interacted with. The FF just got here and the X Men are on their way. That ending could have waited another 5 to ten years. And on top of that, heroes return all the time in the comic usually after being killed off.

GeneralZod - 12/15/2025, 11:47 AM
@Bucky74 - Seems legit. These teaser trailers will do a lot without having much by way of effects/gimmicks put in. Getting audiences reacquainted with the key CHARACTERS that they have come to like/love as a build-up to a movie that pretty much has nothing set up for it (thanks to the utter failure that was Phases 4 and 5) is a good way to get those audiences to give Marvel Studios another chance to make it right. This definitely has Russo Bros written on it.
Bucky74
Bucky74 - 12/15/2025, 12:04 PM
@GeneralZod - Aside from RDJ as Doom, which I’m not thrilled with, I hate that most of the actors will never actually meet and interact and it’s essentially and production where actors film their scenes alone and are smashed to get what in editing. I loved NWH but was disappointed that Toby and Andrew’s Spidey never really interacted with Dr. Strange (and you could tell they were all filmed separately. There’s no reason not to get these actors together and let them play off each other. I want to see Steve and James Marsden’s Cyclops working together in the same frame (hopefully with Jackman’s Wolverine) not a bunch of guys in a booth pretending to talk to each other

thedrudo - 12/15/2025, 12:17 PM
@JobinJ - I think Steve and Tony had great endings.

I also agree the MCU lost its heart and soul when it happened.

In hindsight, I’d personally rather have kept at least one of them to carry us forward and clearly Marvel realized that a long ass time ago because we are getting what we are getting.

We’ll obviously see how that decision works out.

If true then I have very mixed feelings on this…

I actually quite like the idea of Steve being back and having this almost be a continuation of EG by dealing with the fallout of his decision apparently to go back & time and “get a life” but I really hope he doesn’t pick up the mantle of Cap again.

I like Sam and I still feel he hasn’t entirely been given a fair chance to really be Cap and especially show himself as a leader since FaTWS was his journey to embracing the mantle while BNW was him pretty much establishing himself even more in the role regardless of how people felt about that film (I thought it was decent).

Anyway , I really hope both Doomsday and Secret Wars turn out well but I’m not gonna lie and say I’m not nervous either!!.

@TheVisionary25 - I don't need to see Steve as Cap again either, but it'd love a scene where Steve, Sam and Bucky fight together using the shield

@TheVisionary25 - I get ya and after Secret Wars prefer they stick to their guns with SamCap or MAYBE BuckyCap. I mean I get critiques of Sam's series and/or film but given time and a good script they could do great things with him as the lead I feel, shouldn't be written off as quickly as the first MCU Hulk was as a lead character in his own solo's and instead only supporting roles with a recast.

I don't mind at all Steve suiting up for one or both of these movies even if it spoils his Happy Ending, however maybe they can return the character to having that even if shifted onto an alt timeline such as if they keep DP's one (so that he or Peggy could cameo in a future DP&W for instance without those films impacting the 616 continuity).

It looks like a legit leak. But plays more like a tribute to Evans just becoming a dad rather than Avengers movie.

Its a proper tease.

Evans being back speaks volumes on the desperation of Marvel and on how much they will pay just to get back the legacy actors.

1B is breakeven at best. Imagine the asking price of evans to go back seeing for a decade how downey was getting a very large portion of the pie and even with this film
