This Theater's AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR Standee Is A Hilariously Epic Fail
Not every movie theater is a massive chain that gets sent official marketing materials but this one's attempt at making an Avengers: Infinity War standee, while admirable, is a truly epic fail...
Well, you have to give them points for trying. Without an official Avengers: Infinity War standee to promote the Marvel Studios epic, this theater chain decided to create their own from other standees with imagery taken from the likes of Captain America: Civil War, Ant-Man, Thor: Ragnarok, and...the Spider-Man movie from 2002?! They deserve points for creativity but it really doesn't look the best!
What's even more bizarre is that this chain appears to have an IMAX screen so it's clearly not a local mom and pop style cinema with one screen and 2-year-old popcorn still sitting behind the counter.
So, yeah, as standees go this one is definitely pretty bizarre. Credit where credit's due, though, because it certainly goes some way in promoting Avengers: Infinity War even if fans will probably be disappointed by the lack of Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man and the fact Earth's Mightiest Heroes won't be doing battle with each other. What do you guys think? Let us know your thoughts in the usual place.
