Marvel Studios is releasing Black Panther on Digital HD in a few days, on May 8th, and on Blu-ray and DVD on May 15. Thanks to IGN, we now have another deleted scene from the film that reunites T'Challa (Chadwick Boseman) and Everett Ross (Martin Freeman) after the climatic fight in Wakanda against Killmonger and his allies.

The unused scene takes place at the United Nations in Vienna, Austria (where T'Challa's father T'Chaka died in Captain America: Civil War). Ross expresses concerns about T'Challa planning to reveal to the world the truth about Wakanda and their resources and technology, saying that what they have will scare a lot of people and cause them to come after Wakanda. T'Challa, however, notes that he will no longer rule out of fear.

Ross claims that he will try his best to keep others out of Wakanda, a promise that T'Challa plans to hold him to. He then tries his best to impress the King by wishing him good luck in Wakandan, something Ross has clearly been practicing. Let's just say he butchers the phrase a little!

As one may see, it is pretty clear why Coogler chose to cut this scene from the final version of Black Panther. While it is funny and does add a nice reunion for the two characters, the scene adds little to the overall movie.

Would you have wanted this scene included in the film? Be sure to share your thoughts in the usual spot below about this deleted scene and whether Coogler was right in removing it from the theatrical cut of Black Panther.
