In 1942, Steve Rogers is deemed physically unfit to enlist in the U.S. Army and fight the Nazis in World War II. Volunteering instead for Project: Rebirth, a secret military operation, he is physically transformed into a super-soldier dubbed Captain America. With sidekick Bucky Barnes , he fights the Red Skull, Hitler's treacherous head of advanced weaponry, whose own plan for world domination involves a seemingly magical object known as the Tesseract.

According to Eric Goldman of IGN via his Twitter:

"Rocketeer Q&A ended with us seeing new Captain America trailer, which will be online Thursday. Looked very cool!"

Additionally, Ed Mazmanian also hints the same thing:

"New Cap trailer will be online in 2 days!"

What do you think? Sound off on the usual spot below!

Starring Chris Evans, Hugo Weaving, Hayley Atwell, Tommy Lee Jones, and Sebastian Stan, Captain America: The First Avenger is set to arrive on theaters on July 22!

If it's gonna be online I have no reason to go watch TF3. Hopefully it'll show Cap in more hand to hand combat and more Red Skull dialogue.

This trailer is crucial to gain general audience interests.

The teaser trailer, the first trailer and clips thus far have established one thing; Abnormally skinny man is transformed into buff man. I think the millisecond action sequences and explosions hardly establish the element of weakling Rogers transformed into Captain America. Skinny Rogers and Cap feel like two different people.

The ultimate trailer would be effective in showing more moments after Rogers has stepped out of the transformation. I'm sure Rogers spends some amount of time coming to the realization of his new state. The trailer should show this beyond Rogers feeling "taller". This should definitely include the transition from military issue to uniform as well as giving the Howling commandos a quick shot.

Cap is super human and throws his mighty shield. The current trailers and clips shows some high jumps and running, as well as some Shield bouncing. Without giving up all his tricks, the NEW trailer should show a human strength money shot and an elaborate Shield bank; Basically a wow-factor that draws in the general public, Something I think the current trailer lacks.

Finally, the Avengers connection. Relaying this to the audience has to be done even at the expense of cheese. If Stark has any dialog pointing at an obvious connection to Iron Man's Tony Stark, add it in the trailer! If someone says his kid is going to be an "Iron Man", add it. If it let's the audience know that this goes with Iron Man and THOR, add it, no matter how heavy handed or cheezy. Or, show Nick Fury. Only a single line is needed. I know he shows up, presumably, at the end of the film. So what, let the non-geek CBM fans understand the connection.

Then pepper the trailer with all the previous scenes for fluff and it will be effective.

You're welcome.

Still not a fan of Chris Evans as Cap, he'll always be Johnny Storm to me, but whatever! Hope this movie kicks ass!
