It hit me the other day that I might get more responses to my future fancasts if I took a page from movie advertisers and put up a teaser or two--so I decided to put up a whole SLATE OF THEM! Similar to how this website has a list of release dates present on the home page, this will also be done somewhat in the style of a PREVIEWS magazine solicitation. While I can't tease you with "Hitler on Ice, a Viking funeral, and Jews in space" like Mel Brooks in "History of the World, Part I", I can give you what I hope are some pretty interesting fancast ideas I have down the pipeline. So, without further ado....

-Featuring: Rachel McAdams (Jennifer Mays), Patrick Wilson (Gabriel Webb), Ana Ortiz (police Lt. Roberta Bliss), Julianna Marguiles (Ashley Swift)

15. "The Tick", a CG-animated movie (in the style of, say, Megamind)

16. "Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea", the (second) movie

Commander Chip Morton), Dennis Franz (Chief Francis Sharkey), John Krasinski (Sparks), Phil Morris (Doc), Stephen Amell (Kowalski), Amber Heard (Petty Officer Stella Reilly), Donald Glover (Patterson)

17. A Mel Brooks TRIPLE-Feature!
Mel Brooks, in the course of his comedic film-making career, has spoofed the meshugina out of almost every movie genre you could think of--
-Westerns (Blazing Saddles)
-Horror (Young Frankenstein, Dracula: Dead and Loving It)
-Silent film (Silent Movie)
-Hitchcockian suspense (High Anxiety)
-Historical epics (History of the World, Part I)
-Big-budget sci-fi (Spaceballs)
-Swashbuckling adventure (Robin Hood: Men In Tights)
BUT, not every genre has gotten the Mel Brooks treatment--there are three big ones still to be parodied by the master! That's why coming down the line will be a triple-feature of three hypothetical parody films directed by Brooks, consisting of:

1. "The Big Fade-To-Black", a sendup of 40's noir films (and filmed in black-and-white, with brief bits of technicolor), where hard-boiled private eye Phil Hammer (a play on Phillip Marlowe and Mike Hammer) is hired to solve a murder where literally everyone, including himself, is suspect! Featuring: John Bernthal, Eva Green, Kristen Bell, Harvey Keitel, Martin Lawrence, Anton Yelchin, plus cameos from Michael Buble as a crooner, Andy Serkis as King Kong, and many more.

2. "It Came from Bob's Basement!", a lampooning of 50's sci-fi B-movies, where a series of radioactive coincidences causes the emergence of reawakened dinosaurs, giant animals, renegade robots, and alien invasions--all of which must be thwarted by our square-jawed hero, his very-confident-for-a-50's-damsel love interest, a leading scientist, and a whole bunch of trigger-happy army guys!
Featuring: Armie Hammer, Kiera Knightly, Stanley Tucci, Samuel L. Jackson, plus a cameo from noted subject historian and collector Bob Burns (Tracy the Gorilla in "The Ghost Busters", see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bob_Burns_III).

3. "High Octane", a jab at most typical action movies from the late 80's to the early-2000's.

Plus, the remaining parts of earlier fancasts of mine:
-"Power Girl: The Animated Series" Seasons 1 and 2
-"Wolverine and the X-Men" Season 2
-"The Spectacular Spider-Man" Season 3
-"Roswell Conspiracies: Aliens, Myths and Legends" movies 2 and 3
-Character additions to "Justice League Unlimited"

As they say in the business, folks:
