Epic Justice League trilogy: Villains

Epic Justice League trilogy: Villains

Here, I will give you guys my choice villains that would (if the movie and characters are obviously done right) would make the Justice League movies epic.

The teaser and title says it all. It's clear as day that Warner Bros. are hell bent on a DC Cinematic Universe and Justice League. While, I do have a strong sense that they'll disappoint if rumors are to be believed about Batman vs. Superman. But, should they please then, here are the villains that I think would help make a Justice League trilogy epic AND for those who like to compare, here are the villains for the (for now) Avengers trilogy: Loki, Ultron and Thanos. Here are my choice villains.

Justice League - White Martians

Seeing as how the DC Cinematic Universe is relatively dark and serious as it is, it'll progressively get that way as we get further into the universe. This would be the best way to introduce Martian Manhunter. My idea is for there to be massive brutal and bloody murders from an unknown set of "serial killers" that are actually White Martians in disguise looking for Martian Manhunter. It would require both of Batman and The Flash's smarts and would be a way to bring together the team, use the White Martians to their full abilities and the Justice League would get an unlikely ally who ends up revealing himself as, the Martian Manhunter.

Justice League of America - Vandal Savage

Very simple way to go about this. Vandal Savage is said to be immortal as he has lived for centuries and because of this he is a genius and a master fighter. He has seen what society has become and believes metahumans are further proof that society will fall apart without a ruler believing that the Justice League gives society false hope. Aquaman would have a part in the story as he believes surface dwellers are becoming more violent and pose a higher threat and feels he should get involved in stopping the Justice League but, isn't helping Vandal Savage. This film would also have elements of Tower of Babel BUT, would not be an adaptation. A big piece of the plot would be Batman's relationship with the rest of the Justice League and his lack of trust in them. By the time the film would end, Aquaman joins the League, Batman leaves and it's revealed that Savage was working for Darkseid for years now and that Darkseid plans to strike soon.

Justice League: Apokolips - Darkseid

Apokolips is a dying planet and Darkseid wants to ensure the survival of his planet and its inhabitants. Vandal Savage succeeded in weakening the Justice League but failed to finish them. Darkseid is the perfect villain to cap off the trilogy because he is DC's Thanos (yes, I'm well aware that Darkseid came first). Apokolips would be the grim, action packed finale. Once Darkseid comes to earth and beats Superman to a pulp, the members of the Justice League are forced to recruit Batman and ask him to come back because without a leader, they'll lose to Darkseid. Eventually, it'll come down to a final showdown between the entire Justice League and Darkseid in which would result in the destruction of Apokolips as well as Superman sacrificing himself to defeat Darkseid by battling Darkseid and blowing up the boom tube with them both inside it. It'll result in an explosion in which neither are present in the after math. Resulting In the assumption in both of their deaths. It'll leave earth without a Superman and the disbanding of the Justice League completely but, because of these actions other heroes (hints at John Stewart, Oliver Queen, Cyborg, Wally West) will come into the scene to continue fighting crime. This would result in spin offs so the DC Universe doesn't end here.

I know I'll have many disagree with me on Superman's decision when fighting Darkseid but in general, what do you guys think of all this? Comment below.
