FAN ART: Benedict Cumberbatch As MARTIAN MANHUNTER
You may have heard a "rumor" that the Star Trek Into Darkness actor was up for the role of J'onn J'onzz in WB's planned Justice League movie. Well, he isn't, but we do have a pretty cool fan-made depiction of what he might look like as the character.
First of all we'll shed some light on how this whole thing started. Basically the website Movie Pilot fan-cast Cumberbatch in the role of the Martian Manhunter, and then IB Times ran with that as a "rumor" that he was actually up for the role. Now it's out there and other sites are picking it up, but obviously it's horseshit. Still, they did post this pic of Cumby as the fan-favorite Martian:
