Hello CBMers!!!
The mega sized incarceration facility, Supermax, now completed and located in parts unknown. It was built to house the greatest comic book villains to one maximum secured super structure. The villains are placed in unbreakable handcuffs (similar to what Loki had in Avengers) that dampen any superpowers for transport. They are then placed on a bus and transferred to the Supermax. But that bus tho....it's A.B.U.S (Always Busy Unloading SuperVillains) and it goes around from crime scene to crime scene removing super villains when required. It sometimes will be carrying multiple passengers and that's when strange things can happen. This story recants one of those rides.....Tale #34.
Passengers:
Zod (Michael Shannon, Man of Steel)
Joker (Heath Ledger, The Dark Knight)
Justin Hammer (Sam Rockwell, Iron Man 2)
Venom (Topher Grace, Spiderman 3)
Zod sits in the rear left side seat, staring intensely out the window. Venom sits directly across from Zod, his mask receded to show his face. On the right middle seat sits Justin Hammer, who looks worrisome and forlorn. The ABUS has just received the Joker who sits right beside Justin Hammer.
JOKER: "Hi."
HAMMER: *stares blankly at Joker, stunned and frightened* "Hello."
JOKER: "That damn bird, huh? Which reminds me, you wanna know how I got these scars?....Ahh, nevermind, kids these days. Lets see who is on this magical bus ride with us.." *Joker turns and scans the rear of the bus* "Oh Zoddie, what's wrong? Why so scowlie?"
ZOD: "This insignificant human, Luthor dares to defy me! He has even brainwashed my greatest ally and asset, Faora. Oh, I will find him. I WILL FIND HIM! Then have his sniveling person brought before me and made to kneel."
JOKER: "Hmm, seems fitting, as I hear it Faora does all her kneeling before Lexie." *looks angrily at Hammer* "Drumroll??"
HAMMER: "Oh, uh badapa bump??"
JOKER: "I like you, Hammer, you got...what's the word? Ahh, personality." *again looks toward the back of the bus, notices Venom* "Eeegad!! What's your name?"
VENOM: "Yea, hi. I'm Venom. Just taking a short ride to this prison. I got a friend on the inside, I'll be back on the streets by nightfall."
HAMMER: *turns frantically to stare back at Venom* "Wait. Wait. Wait, you have a....a...way out of this? Because quite frankly, I don't belong there. How. How. How can one get in on this?"
JOKER: "Calm down Hammer. You don't want to be to legit to quit. Er...or do you? I can never remember...Now you, Venom was it? Yeah, how will you be getting us all out?" *gives Venom a deadpan glance with a small smirk*
VENOM: "Ok. Well, there's a guy on the inside, Green Goblin. He's been there a while, and has developed an escape plan with another prisoner, Dr. Octopus."
JOKER: "Dr. Octopus? I didn't know Bond villains were being kept here."
HAMMER: "Uh...how? I mean, I thought this prison was supposed to be inescapable?"
JOKER: "Tell that to Stallone and Schwarzenegger....huh? Huh? Your slacking on my roll.....Ahhh, whooo... Ok, didja see that movie? I think it's a metaphor, you see, they're really attempting to break out of the terrible state their films have been lately."
ZOD: "Prisons mean nothing to me as well. Although I would like to meet this friend of yours Venom."
HAMMER: "Yea. Yea. Me too, I know I can bring something to the group, well financially speaking of course."
JOKER: "Perfect then, we'll all be back on the street tonight." *appears to adjusts himself* "Ah, these nuggets are uncomfortable. What? Oh, I am smuggling in some chicken nuggets for a friend of mine. Sure he won't mind the smell, he wears a mask."
ZOD: *shakes head* "So this is what it has come to. Having to work with goblins and octopi. Regardless, I will surely be promised my revenge on this Luthor Earthman."
JOKER: "What a downer. And Luthor is good people. He helped me set up my Facebook account."
HAMMER: "Badapa bump?"
JOKER: "I suppose..."
VENOM: "I always hated that Facebook killed MySpace, I had so many friends on MySpace."
JOKER: "BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!"
HAMMER: "You know I tried to break into the social media realm. HammerSpace, but it didn't quite catch on. Instead, turned it into a profitable porn site. Gotta pay for all those robots some way."
The bus comes to a stop and the door whooshes open. The passengers arise at the same time, and began to make their way toward the bus' exit.
What's going to happen? Will this escape plan work out? Will Joker deliver those nuggets to Bane? Stay tuned....
