Illuminati

The Illuminati gather to discuss the latest events within the MCU. At this point, whether it's Ultron, Hulk, Miracles, Inhumans and other aliens or the Civil War, there are issues with which to be dealt. More importantly, this is the MCU intro of the REAL Mandarin. The secret organization battles The 10 rings AND the Mandarin.

Hank Pym

-The coordinator

-I don't think it would hurt the character, who, it seems, has the most experience with super heroics to be exposed on Netflix. Nor, to that point, do I feel it would hurt, or be beneath, Douglas to appear on more episodes than not.

If there were a few episodes where each member actually gathered together, it would surely be a huge win for Marvel as viewers would clamber to see it.

Tony Stark

-The humanitarian
- ending his run on a big note like this is a small gesture of appreciation for the company that reignited his star power. Again, a small number of episodes, placed intelligently and methodically throughout,   is all that is needed.

Black Panther

-The strategist
-I could definitely see him starring here and using this to springboard the Panther persona.

Dr Strange

-The sage who rarely involves himself in anything
-whereas he was only around in Midnight Sons to "Nick Fury" the team together, he would be around about as often as Stark, but less than Pym and Panther.

Silver Sable

-The underground affiliate to virtually all of Europe (seen as an anti-hero)

Sable is the template for workaholics and obsessives anywhere. She tends to stick to one objective at a time, moving on only when her current pursuit is finished.
She is very cold-hearted, logical, professional, arrogant and ruthless. When one of her men gets hurt, her usual reaction is to discipline him for raising her insurance rates.

While she is intolerant when it comes to blunders, she understands how emotions and one’s past can force somebody down an unfortunate path. Experience has also demonstrated that ex-criminals struggling for redemption made for exceptionally motivated agents.

Evan Rachel Wood

Wood was my pick for the 2015 recast/revision of Sue Storm for much of the same reason she should be valued as a score for the MCU as Sable. Strong, sexy and a heavyweight actress not yet considered top tier.

Norman Osborn

-The underground affiliate to virtually all of The Americas (seen as an anti-hero)

Sable’s relationship with Osborn is complicated - they want each other as much as they genuinely hate each other.

Possibly the most interesting character potential in the MCU, Osborn, wisely, has infiltrated, if you will, the illuminati under the pretenses that he is a seedy individual with (somewhat) good intentions. The truth is much darker. I've said since the beginning that general Ross should have taken up his role within the MCU, but now that he is here, things will hit the fan.

Not introducing a character seen on the big screen (3 times already) as part of Spider-Man was very important to how deeply this character effects The MCU.

Barry Pepper

Clearly, I like all of those in which I've cast. I feel they are all very believable in their respective roles as well I feel that they are attainable in Marvel's eyes. This, though, is, by far, my favorite.

Panther, Sable and Osborne round out the trio of "protagonists"

Mandarin

I was convinced we were never going to see the real one in the MCU. I get the political reasons why they didn't use the real one but then to turn around and make a mockery of it was-they should've just opted to not use the figure. They could've done the movie without the reference or not referenced a physical head named Mandarin of the 10 Rings only to say Killian was in charge or just pretending to be. By using the Mandarin title, it's insulting to fans.

I was set on the idea that the real one was a pipe dream until I read up on it. Apparently, the real one exists and, I feel, representing him in the MNU is the perfect launching pad for the character and the Netflix series. Using the Illuminati as his adversaries will show just how powerful he is and that Stark can't face him alone.

Mark Dacascos

A younger, more physical personification is important. The only small draw back (for the very nit-picky) is that he is of mixed descent.

Instead of making the rings alien, as the Infinity Gauntlet is already doing this, they can tie it to any number of things like sorcery (making him an enemy of Strange as well) or connecting him to Iron Fist, The Hand and so on.

Spider-Man 2

Eddie Brock, a new employee of the Bugle, classically screws up when trying kiss up to JJJ by soiling the popularity of Spider-Man by highlighting the fears the public has of the growth of powerful beings. He claims that Spider-Man is the result of Hydra experimentation.

Tony Stark (mentioned, not seen) then publicly denounces this claim, blacklisting the Daily Bugle. Brock is fired; this happens over the course of half the season.

A visit from Ezekiel, under the guise of a friend, sheds light on the true origin of his totem powers. When Spider-Man doesn't accept his place among the Spider Society,
Ezekiel brings with him a Black Tarantula. This is a rank of a considerably top member of the Spider Society. A soldier, wishing to attain the powers through ritual, accompanies the Black Tarantula; his position is known as a Scorpion.

The secret society summons a poison/parasite to help kill Spider-Man; as he is either with them or against them. When the Scorpion volunteers to host the Venom, brought here by the Chitari, he is quickly noted as unworthy by the alien symbiote.

Meanwhile, investigating Spider-Man to out him in some way, Brock comes across the occult and becomes host to the parasite, disappearing.

Out numbered by the trio and against the odds, Spider-Man is assisted by a returning Puma. After killing Ezekiel, Puma valiantly exchanges his life for Spidey's against the Black Tarantula. Puma's dying statement is along the lines that this was his true destiny and Spider-Man's is to help destroy the "bringer of death" and unite the front.

In a twist, the inept and imbalanced Scorpion kills Black Tarantula out of anger, only to be defeated and apprehended by the wall-crawler.

From the shadows, Venom lurks.

Shown below are new cast members

Ezekiel

If he is a top member, or the top, of the Sipder Society will remain vague. Nonetheless, he shares the same abilities as  Peter Parker and sheds light on the concept of a totem, mentioning Easter egg characters like Black Panther, Man-Ape and Tigra

Viggo Mortensen

Older in age but still an intimidating figure, Mortensen strikes me as still being capable of contorting himself like a spider when hunt chef over. This would also make a huge impact on Netflix to have him in the series and amp up Marvel's new Spider-Man in his second series.

Black Tarantula

As a high ranking member of the Spider Society, he is dispatched to apprehend SM. the reason for this remains a mystery, however BT shares many of the same physical attributes as SM. he refers to SM as the "totem."

Edgar Ramirez

The award winning actor has starred in Zero Dark Thirty, Born Ultimatum, Wrath of the Titans and Hands of Stone. Ramirez stands as one of the best choices to bring to life the mysterious Tarantula and serve as the intro point to the Society of Spiders.

Scorpion

As a knock-around-guy for the Spider Society, he uses an Eclipse Scythe and wrist blades to achieve a higher status within the society. He is not in traditional gear, instead, his outfit is more in line with the recent cartoon version.

Tahmoh Penikett

I just don't get why he's not a bigger name. Now, don't get me wrong, I don't believe he's an A-lister, but I'll say that when I heard he was in MoS, I thought it would lead to bigger things. Also, although I'm not for an older, seasoned Batman in the DCCU, I think they should've used Penikett instead of Affleck so that you could experience a Batman that was more mysterious ie an actor that isn't instantly recognizable. Well, DCs loss should be Marvel's gain. He would make an impressive Gargan, one that has deep roots in greater things, yet still holds Spider-Man and JJJ responsible for his missteps.

Eddie Brock
Theo James

The Divergent star is rising quickly and (I felt) should've been cast as Ben Grimm in the new Fantastic 4. Fox's loss should be Marvel's gain. If not Marvel, DC should pick up on this. Perhaps @Cherrybomb's idea to cast him as Shazam is good; perhaps Hal Jordan. Any way it's sliced, James will be big.
