Ryan Gosling as Hal Jordan/Green Lantern
A truly underappreciated actor, Gosling is not good for just his looks but also has the acting chops to portray an amazing Hal jordan in my opinion.
Mila Kunis as Carol Ferris/Star Sapphire
Mila has proven to me that she is able to play great female roles besides the typical damsel-in-distress. She's my pick for playing Carol Ferris who eventually becomes the villain Star Sapphire.
John Cho as Thomas Kalmaku
Hal Jordan's mechanic and the man who chronicles Hal's superhero journies after successfully deducing his identity. Smart, capable and always respectfully depicted best friend, eventually becoming a business executive and more.
Common as John Stewart
Given a chance due to his work on Hell on Wheels, Common is my choice for John Stewart. No big role here just a quick cameo with his name said. This cameo could very much indeed open up room for a John Stewart spin-off though.
Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen/Green Arrow
CBMs are making big moves by bringing in TV series characters to the big screen and DC should hurry up if they want to catch up with Marvel. My suggestion is Stephen Ammell coming to the screen as Green Arrow. Stephen does amazing work on the show and seeing as how Arrow has been a supporting character of Green Lantern, they could work that in somehow.
John Hurt as the voices of the Guardians of the Universe
A man with a golden voice that you may not recognize instantly. John is able to deliver a calm demeanor and quickly transition into an angry tirade at the drop of a dime which is why I feel he is the perfect man to voice the superiors to the Green Lantern.
Hugo Weaving as Thaal Sinestro
A former Green Lantern and mentor to Hal Jordan. Sinestro was cast to the anti-matter universe for his dictatorship over planets and species alike. By exiling Sinestro to a world ruled by evil beings who specifically hated him as a Green Lantern, the Guardians hoped to humble him. However, their attempt at punishment would be a major miscalculation. Sinestro believed himself to have been wronged by his former masters and now hated them.
John Goodman as the voice of Kilowog
Enemy-turned-ally of Hal. Kilwog saw himself as the most prized member of the Green Lantern Corps and questioned why they needed the earthling Hal. Kilwog eventually began to respect Hal during the battle with Sinestro and pledged his loyalty to the newest Green Lantern.
Ving Rhames as the voice of Larfleeze
A post-credits scene sees Larfleeze gazing into his orange light and reciting his infamous oath.
"What's mine is mine
and mine and mine,
And mine, and mine, and mine!
Not yours!"
