Marvel One Shots are a great way for the cinematic universe to introduce characters even if they wont appear on the big screen so here's my shot idea.
Okay for those who don't know the Wrecking Crew -
Wrecker Aka Dirk Garthwaite was a violent criminal who was known for wrecking crime scenes with his crowbar, mistaken for Loki by the Norn Queen he was given godly powers after retrieving his enchanted crowbar he told three fellow prisoners to hold the crowbar during a lightning storm, a lighting bolt struck the crowbar giving them all powers and forming the Wrecking Crew they are:
Piledriver, Brian Philip Calusk who uses his his over-sized pile-driving fists while fighting.
Thunderball, Dr. Eliot Franklin the brains of the crew and uses a huge demolition ball on a chain
Bulldozer, Henry Camp has an armored metal helmet which he uses by ramming his victims head-first

My One Shot starts during the battle of New York as the Avengers fight the Chitauri the group of four criminals (Dirk, Brian, Eliot and Henry) are looting an electronics store using the Chitauri invasion to take advantage of the situation, Brian and Henry keep watch as Dirk and Eliot carry electrical goods from the store to their car, It becomes obvious that Brian is uneasy of the situation and that the invasion is frightening him but the others are less concerned.
As Eliot, Brian and Henry prepare to leave Dirk hysterically wrecks the store with his crowbar as Eliot gets out of the car to get him a lone Chitauri soldier runs up the street firing at the men Dirk believing himself to be the superior runs at the Alien with his crowbar beating it down as he walks away believing it dead Eliot warns him it has risen behind him, Just as the Chitauri takes aim a lightning bolt delivered from Thor (we hear an audio clip of Thor during the battle) bounces its way around and down the street luckily hitting and killing the alien but also hitting Dirks crowbar sending him back.
Henry and Brian gather over Dirk and begin to shake him worried he is dead but Eliot has noticed the crowbar now glows silver as he reaches down Dirk who has quickly gained conscience pushes him back demanding Eliot leaves the crowbar alone but as it glows the four men question a strange humming coming from the crowbar, agreeing all the pick it up at once the men are thrown back in a small flash of light.
Waking up in a prison hospital Dirk is confused as the doctors try to explain that the four men where found unconscious on the street after the now famous battle of New York in which the Avengers saved the world and where arrested due to obviously robbing the store they were outside the doctors then tell him he has been unconscious for over three months, Dirk becomes enraged and kills both doctors with no effort becoming confused by his new found super strength he goes on a rampage through the prison.
In a special unit of the prison Eliot, Brian and Henry are being held in three separate cells as they had woken a week before they discuss their obvious new powers (all four men has bulked up incredibly) as alarms go off Dirk enters the unit weilding his crowbar and with a smile says
"Lets Wreck this place boys"
The last scene shows the four now wearing a mix between their comic counterpart costumes and combat gear racing towards a squad of police with Dirk shouting
"Wrecking Crew wreck em!"
