While I am well aware I am not the best artist in the world, one night I decided to take a crack at drawing some people. I had never drawn "people" before. I've always been pretty good at doing scapes and objects, but never attempted anyone in a real life sketch. Hope you enjoy!
It started one night when I wanted to take a crack at how I thought Ben Affleck would look as Batman.(before the reveal) Not my best, but a start for not drawing in a few years. (and wasnt far off)
After watching "Lone Survivor", I took a swing at Mark Wahlberg's character. (While listening to the soundtrack)
Next, I watched "Her" a week or so later and wanted to do Joaquin Phoenix, starting to look a little better. (while listening to the soundtrack)
Next up was Henry Cavill as Superman from my personal favorite, "Man of Steel". (While listening to Hans Zimmers scores for the movie)
This next one is Lana Del Ray. Not in a movie, but she is one of my favorite singers/artists and at the time I was listening to her music. She was also the first female I have ever drawn.
Coming next was one of the
six characters that Tom Hanks plays in "Cloud Atlas". Also listening to the insanely beautiful soundtrack while I did this. Cloud Atlas in my favorite non CBM movie. I love it to death, from the music to the story. This was the movie that got me into soundtracks and movies/ film making.
Wasnt a fan of how the hair turned out for me texture wise, but this one turned out great I thought!
One of the more fun and frustrating ones for me to do was Christian Bale from "American Psyhco". I listened to "Hip to be square" the entire time I drew this, which was a couple of hours.
Last but not least, Rorschach of "Watchmen". Also listened to the wonderful soundtrack for the movie while doing this one.
There you have it folks! I wasnt even sure I could draw peopel but had a lot of fun while doing these, just thought I would share, and would like to know your thoughts below!
