Okay so unlike my recent articles this game would be slightly different, it would still be a free-roam sandbox game but also we driven on getting things done as well as Back Story driven missions.

Okay so...

The Character -

You would design your Smuggler character given the same species to choose from as the Jedi game also choosing the Sex of the character and Race.
Their back story would motivate the character so giving you four back stories to choose from -

The Farm - Being raised on a farm until one day a ship crash lands, your father runs to the scene only to be killed by the pilot a Sith.
Managing to escape you and your sister live together on Tatooine earing your way by becoming a Smuggler, Your main goal is to earn money so you and your Sister can escape to a richer life but due to your past your find it hard to trust anyone.

The Rich - The son of a wealthy senator but hating the life of the greedy one day sneaking onto a ship destined for Coruscant, meeting an old Neimoidian who welcomes you into his home believing you to be homeless.
After hearing a report that your father is looking for you the Neimoidian realizes your worth something and sells you to a Hutt after years of being a Slave you bargain with your master to become a Smuggler and work your way out of slavery.

The Junkie - Living on Tatooine and becoming hooked on deathsticks you make up a debt you cant pay, after meeting a wise old hermit in a Cantina suddenly your life seems much clearer you loose the need for drugs and after years of work you buy a ship then set to make your status as a Smuggler to help earn the credits to open a Home for Ex-Junkies like yourself.

The Rouge - Never knowing your parents and never caring about The Empire you raise yourself how you see fit becoming a happy go lucky Smuggler who's good with the Ladies/Gents and always finds a way of getting what you want until it all comes crashing down when your set up for the murder of a known politician.
Using your quick wits and fast ship you earn your way through the galaxy, shooting first and thinking after.

Experience -
Experience will be used to level your character up more experience means more stuff available on the market like Ships, Blasters and Clothing all of which will be upgradable making ships Faster, Bigger and allow them to hold more.
Weapon upgrades will allow weapons to shoot faster and deal more damage, and clothing upgrades will give you more armour and faster although once a new Ship, weapon or piece of clothing is bought then the upgrade will have to be redone.

Smugglers Tag's -
Smugglers tags will be rewarded after every successful job, they will help you gain experience as well as higher end jobs.

So after you've chose a back story the missions will be set for you but all have the same basic principle and set in six parts kinda like the Jedi game.

Reporting to your boss/employer your given a high end job, Get a large amount of Crystals from one place to another sounds easy? first you've got to steal them from a rival crime boss's smuggler and then past a bounty hunter who's been hired to protect the smuggler.
Once this job is complete your given your first Smugglers Tag.

After being sent to Coruscant to attend a meeting with your boss/employer with the other crime bosses the meeting is ambushed by the Empire leaving crimes bosses and smugglers separated.
You and a group of smugglers must fight your way through the levels of Coruscant to meet with the bosses on the upper level, through out this mission you will hear how the Empire is bringing an end to Smugglers who wont work for them.

Once back with your boss you set off to take him back to his headquarters only for your ship to crash (this is the ship the game gives you so your not wasting money) your boss dies and his Majordomo informs you that the boss owed a huge debt to Jabba the Hutt and that if this debt isn't paid then it'll be more than the boss who'll be dead.

Arriving at Jabba's Palace your taken to an arena where your forced to fight to show your can handle yourself, After six rounds your faced with Boba Fett who beats you to an inch of your life but this pleases Jabba that you got this far and he admits he knew you wouldn't beat Boba because nobody can.

After Jabba decides you will work for him your sent to smuggle a rare liquid that can be used as a fuel, this means going to a palace on Naboo and stealing it from the warehouse of a greedy rich Governor, once the mission is complete you gain full access to Jabba's Palace.

After a few smuggling missions while in Space in your ship a Star Destroyer orders to board your ship and check for illegal shipping, You can choose to try and outrun the ship which requires taking so many hits until your hyperspace is charged, Allow them to board but then kill them or allow them to board and then talk or bribe your way out of getting in trouble.

This leads to Jabba seeing you as a risk and no matter how good you are he already has "The Corellian and his Wookie making risks be cant afford" this leads to you having to fight your way out of Jabba's Palace and then steal a speeder to get to Mos Eisley.

Once there and on your ship you get away until Slave One catches up with you, You have to take hits from Slave One until your hyperspace is charged and then escape once you get to Coruscant your informed on a investment you made earlier in the game which now means your rich (Good Ending) or your informed that Slave One has pulled a favour with the Empire and your surrounded by Stormtroopers before being frozen in Carbonite and presented to Jabba (Bad Ending) Or if your fast enough once you land on Coruscant you can make your way to the Senate building where you have a battle with Boba before allowing yourself to be killed (Smuggler Ending).

The Farm - Allowing yourself to be killed means your sister gets the money from the investment and is safe and lives happily, The Bad ending means she is made Jabba's Slave girl after your frozen.

The Rich - Allowing yourself to killed leads to your father sending Bounty Hunters after Boba who lives but is deserted on a planet for months, The Good ending leads to you buying your fathers property and giving it to orphans where as the Bad ending leads to Your father spending his life searching for you and dies never knowing your at Jabbas Palace.

The Junkie - Allowing yourself to be killed leaves Jabba exposed as a criminal and loses a lot of his contacts, The Good ending leads to you opening the Home and the Bad leads to one day being freed from carbonite but made to walk the desert like Tatooine blind until falling into a Sarlacc.

The Rouge - Allowing yourself to be killed Jabba looses a realizes you were a good Smuggler and he'll loose a profit leaving him to admit he is the real loser here, The Good ending with the money youve earned you walk into a Cantina and start chatting up a waitress and the Bad ending you become Jabba's favourite decoration.
