Star Wars - The Jedi - The Video Game

Following my recent article on a Boba Fett video game I've decided to follow up with another Star Wars video game I think would make for hours of fun.

Okay so as I said in the teaser I'm following my recent article on a Boa Fett video game with a game simply titled 'The Jedi' or 'Star Wars - The Jedi'

Again this would be a Free-roam Sandbox game but unlike Boba Fett you wouldnt be able to just freely travel from planet to planet you'd have to unlock planets.

The Character - Designing a Jedi

Okay so at the start of the game after a short Cinematic showing Jedi like Master Yoda, Mace Windu, Ki-Adi-Mundi, and Qui-Gon Jinn being jedi "Jedi the peace keepers..... Their path is yours"

We then make our character

Male / Female and Race

Species - Human, Duros, Cerean, Sullustan, Rodian, Trandoshan, Nautolan, Twi'lek, Zabrak and Iktotchi

Each species would have their own power for example Nautolan would be able to breath under water without a breathing device and Iktotchi would be stronger with Jedi mind tricks.

After choosing a name you start out as a Youngling in a class with Master Yoda teaching you and other Younglings to use the force this would be a simple task of levitating a ball across the room and back again.

After this a few years pass and you are given a choice of four masters to impress this is when we are introduced to the Master approval bar.
The master approval bar will sit at the top of the centre of the screen and will appear when a mission is over, starting off as blue it will fill with green every time you gain approval from your master for every task/mission you complete your master will approve but if you go against your masters wishes and it is not a lesson you could gain a red brick on the bar showing a step to the Dark side which could leave your master to take you back to the council.

Missions -

Once granted a Master you will be given tasks and missions from the council to investigate goings on in the galaxy the first ten missions with your master will be to travel with him to planets (which would unlock planets) and keep the peace between warring species even if this leads to lightsaber action.

After the Battle of Naboo your given your first solo task as an Padawan Apprentice to discover the whereabouts of a missing Neimoidian criminal who is wanted for questioning.

After a period of time and other solo missions and missions with your master the two of you are called to be a part of the two hundred jedi that went with Mace Windu to The Battle of Geonosis this will be the third time you meet Obi-Wan (1st as a Youngling 2nd after getting a master) during the battle your Master is killed if you have enough approval.

After the battle on Geonosis you are called to the council where they decide you are ready for the trials to become a knight, The trials take up fifteen missions and once given the title knight you and your master (if they didnt die on Geonosis if they did then your accompanied by another Jedi knight) are given the task of finding Count Dooku once found a lightsaber duel occurs in which either your master or the jedi knight your with die.

During the Clone Wars your given the task of choosing your own Padawan (there are five to choose) during the hard times of the clone wars you train your apprentice this takes the majority of 20 - 30 missions.

After choosing your apprentices first solo mission the game shifts to the start of Episode III, Your apprentice has been made a knight and your both on a Hoth like planet leading clone troopers into battle, Your then asked by Master Yoda to report to another planet to take over from a Jedi who fell in battle and after helping report to Coruscant to join Kit Fisto on a mission to the outer rim.

After returning to Coruscant with Fisto your sent to help on another planet when Order 66 is called and you spend ten missions fighting off Clone troopers each time loosing more jedi as well as your apprentice, After loosing him/her you must sneak into a camp and steal a ship to answer the call from the Jedi Temple.

Once at the temple and discovering its a trap you can either die here ending the story of the game or make it out of the temple alive and carry on the game fleeing clone troopers.

Taking exile on a planet (either Tatooine or a planet similar to Bespin) you have to spend the next four missions choosing to look for more surviving Jedi (Way of the Jedi Ending) sneak aboard an Imperial ship heading to The Death Star to take on Vader (Hero Ending) or stay where you are where your found by Vader and after a fight give in and join the dark side only to be killed by Vader seconds after (Dark Ending)

Online -

Online you could enjoy battles playing with friends as jedi going to battles like Geonosis, you will continue to play as your jedi and the Freeroam mode in which you can explore the in game planets and gain online experience.

So what do you guys think?
