They really were terrible, and while the sequel had some redeeming qualities (Silver Surfer mostly), it still left the franchise on the shelf for eight years. How the reboot will compare to them remains to be seen at this point - reactions on social media from a screening which just wrapped up in France aren't great so far to be honest - but for now, relive the Fantastic Four films which gave us what this video calls a "decent Captain America."
