I just saw this movie this wknd, and I regret not seeing it the theaters because I listened to all you fcukers, lol. I thought the movie was beautiful and BRILLIANT.

Also, i did see the extended version with 18min extra footage, don't know if that made the difference but it was AWESOME.

at the end i though, it was good as movie together heres why:
1) Visuals were amazing
2) Acting i didnt think was too bad
3) Hot girls with guns

That was the pro, heere was the bad:
1)ok script
2)three story line going on at once and in the end didnt play out that well
3)there was only three battles (meaning i wanted more so i guess its good.)

Overall i thought it was good but would have been WAY BETTER if he just stuck with one story, espeacially the dream sequences, i would love to see a movie JUST about that.

I was so pumped for this film and it was such a letdown. visually this movie was amazing but storywise it sucked, great fight sequences and I loved that each girl had a diff personality. It seemed they worked too hard on making it visually appealing and just half-assed on the script. Sad, it had so much potential....

They wasted so many film making resources. All they needed was an actual storyline and discernable plot.

I know what Snyder was trying to do, but the irony was lost and it looked more like an insult to geeks.

I loved this movie and still do. I saw it the night it was released in theaters and bought the extended blu-ray at wallie world at midnight last night when it was released.

I'm hoping for a better release further down the road though... one that actually has special features like behinds the scenes, etc...

I didn't hate the movie but I didn't love it. I just felt it was pretty pointless. Not even half way through the movie i wondered when it was gonna end. Twas kinda meh...

Have to agree with many of the others. The movie was visually stunning and the action was amazing, but the story was really lacking. It wasn't confusing, just had an odd direction. Snyder is a good director, but he lacks the subtlety and delicacy for the subject matter involved. It just seemed excessive at times, especially with the music. I know raw is his style, but sheesh the opening fifteen minutes were super heavy-handed.

HE'S A VISUAL GUY, HE GETS THE GEEK FACTOR, WHEN YOU SEE HIM FOLLOW A GRAPHIC NOVEL HE'S ON POINT ..DOWN TO DETAILS,SOME LIBERTIES OF COURSE TOO, THE GUY DOES FIGHT TO HOLD ONTO KEY ELEMENTS OF STORIES IN COMICS WE LOVE..300 WAS AWESOME, WATCHMEN, TRUE SUCKERPUNCH HAD ITS QUIRKS BUT THE GIRLS WERE HOT..

I was really high when I saw this. It was just a total mind [frick]. I though it was fun of course the action sequences kinda made me want to fall asleep. I wasn't disappointed tho prob just should have been sober.

It was a good time. I really enjoyed it and the story as well. I think that if people sit back and rewatch it that it is really a lil something special. The thing is, reality is over in the first 15 minutes or so and everything else is interpretation of her situation...after the fact. Her five days are already up. And Emily Browning rocked the soundtrack.
