Karen Gillan Is Back In Costume As 'Nebula' On The GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY Vol. 2 Set

Unfortunately the Scottish actress hasn't shown us a whole lot with this snap, but can you make out any subtle alterations to Nebula's outfit since the first Guardians Of The Galaxy flick?

Yes, that is just a picture of Karen Gillan resting her now blue hand on her purple-clad thigh - but believe it or not this marks the first time we've had a glimpse of an actor in full costume as their character on the set of James Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.

Nebula was a flat-out villain in the first movie, but rumor has it she'll have softened a bit by the time we catch up with her in the sequel - and may even aid the team of intergalactic A-holes in their space-battles.

Set to the all-new sonic backdrop of Awesome Mixtape #2, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 continues the team’s adventures as they unravel the mystery of Peter Quill’s true parentage. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is produced by Marvel Studios’ president, Kevin Feige, with Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Jonathan Schwartz, Nik Korda and Stan Lee serving as executive producers.

The Marvel sequel is set to hit theaters on May 5, 2017.
