The first teaser trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is expected any day now to coincide with the release of Doctor Strange, but James Gunn has taken to Twitter today to reveal the first poster for the movie. It's a lot different to the one we got for the last instalment, but is in many ways reminiscent of a lot of album covers as we see the team lined up and staring into the distance (aside from Baby Groot).

New team members Yondu and Nebula are included here, but there's no sign of Mantis. Why she's being kept under wraps remains to be seen, but it could be that Marvel wants to make a bigger deal about her upcoming debut with an official image somewhere down the line. What do you guys think about this Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 poster? As always, let us know your thoughts below.

Starring Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Karen Gillan, Michael Rooker, Pom Klementieff, Elizabeth Debicki, and Kurt Russell, the movie will be released on May 5th.

Gamora looks like she's been photoshopped in, it's off-putting.

@MattBellissimo - Yes its an obvious photoshop job. The poster would have been more cool if they'd have gone with a candid group shot of the cast ACTUALLY together. This is an easy photo to capture without post-prod touchups. THAT would have been truly rock n' roll to do.

Good poster if it's just a tease but don't use it as official promotion.

I love this. Definitely captures the rockstar album cover vibe.
