The Super Bowl TV for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 was downright incredible, and now it's been followed with a poster and a fresh look at the assembled team (before Mantis gets hit by a comet). There were obviously only a certain number of spaces available on this one-sheet, but it's interesting that Marvel decided to put the spotlight on Yondu and Ego the Living Planet, don't you guys think?
Regardless, expect the marketing campaign for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 to kick off in a big way over the next few months. With the first instalment proving to be such a huge success, Marvel can afford to take a pretty unconventional approach to the way they handle the sequel, and this definitely seems like a pretty good start. The question is, which of these cassettes would you end up choosing?
Starring Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Karen Gillan, Michael Rooker, Pom Klementieff, Elizabeth Debicki, and Kurt Russell, the movie will be released on May 5th.
