Guillermo del Toro is assembling quite a cast for his haunted house thriller. After securing Emma Stone and Charlie Hunnam as his leads, Variety report that the next actor to sign up is Benedict Cumberbtach. The British actor has gained quite a fanboy following playing tv's Sherlock, and has a couple of big villain roles coming up that have most of us here on CBM very excited: John Harrison in Star Trek Into Darkness and the titular Dragon in The Hobbit: The Desolation Of Smaug. Will be also be playing a baddie in Crimson Peak? At this point we have no idea, as no character details are given. Plot details are also sketchy, although Del Toro recently revealed that the film would focus just as much on romance as it would on scares. Del Toro and Lucinda Coxon are at work ironing out the original script from Matthew Robins, and the movie is expected to shoot in February 2014.
