Fans, journalists and celebrities all got the chance to catch an early screening of World War Z last night, and as you can see from the assortment of Tweets below, the reaction so far has been overwhelmingly positive. While it does appear as if it takes some liberties with the source material, this is good news for the movie which has reportedly been plagued by production problems for almost as long as it's been shooting. Of course, regardless of the response, the fact that the budget apparently ended up increasing dramatically may mean that World War Z struggles to be a hit at the box office (especially as Paramount haven't done the best of jobs marketing it so far, leading many to be unsure as to what the film is even about). Are you guys looking forward to it?

The story revolves around United Nations employee Gerry Lane (Pitt), who traverses the world in a race against time to stop the Zombie pandemic that is toppling armies and governments and threatening to decimate humanity itself. Enos plays Gerry’s wife Karen Lane; Kertesz is his comrade in arms, Segen.
