After Resident Evil: Afterlife grossed nearly 300 million dollars at the box office it was inevitable that we would receive a sequel. On March 3, 2011 it was confirmed that the yet to be titled Resident Evil 5 was going to happen. Milla Jovovich will be returning to the role as Alice.


Hollywood Reporter has announces that shooting will take place in West Toronto at the Cinespace's Kipling studio from mid-October till December 23rd. The film is scheduled to be released on September 14th 2012.
