It's been a strange ride for the DC Extended Universe/DC Film Universe, or whatever it's calling itself these days. At the start, on the eve of Dawn of Justice's release, it seemed Warner Bros. was ready to come out swinging and challenge Marvel Studios for superhero box office supremacy. Then came the string of regime changes, critical failures, and box office under-performers that have led to the current situation of Warner Bros. distancing itself from the strategy of a shared universe for its DC Comics adaptations.

However, perhaps this shift is what the studio needs right now. Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and Shazam! were, strangely enough, the studio's best projects among releases that included a solo Superman film, Batman meeting Superman and a Justice League ensemble. As such, we currently live in a reality where most of the DC adaptations announced between 2014-2018 Warner Bros. appear to have stalled.

Still, there are a number of upcoming films that look promising and we want to ask the true CBM fans out there to let us know which of the upcoming films or projects in active development are you most looking forward to one day seeing in theaters.
