On November 21st Lions Gate Films will be releasing "The Punisher Extended Cut" DVD which will include 17 minutes of new footage integrated into the film. Also a part of the new release will be The Punisher comic book gallery, new Tim Bradstreet illustrations and a "making of" featurette.

An animated opening of the "The Kuwait Scene," which was originally planned to be a part of the 2004 film will be added as well. Due to budgetary constraints director Jonathan Hensleigh was never able to shoot the scene.

The scene, illustrated by artist Tim Bradstreet, will join Thomas Jane and Russell Andrews. The animation can be played before the film begins.
