Ridley Scott introduced us to a terrifying new movie-going experience known as
Alien, and from there he spawned a legendary franchise, and created a legacy for the sci-fi genre. Now he is going back to his legacy, and giving us a new story, spanning the origins of the Xenomorph species with his new film,
Prometheus.

The Shame star revealed that the upcoming sci-fi film from director Ridley Scott will feature recognisable "creatures" from the 1979 movie.
"There's definitely a link to Alien," Fassbender told Entertainment Weekly.
"There's creatures in it that you'll recognize, but that's only one tiny facet of what's going on," he added. "I think I should leave it at that."

Prometheus will arrive in theaters June 8th, 2012!
