EDITORIAL: Villains I Want To See in The Amazing Spider-Man 2

The future of the Spider-Man films depends on the sucess of The Amazing Spider-Man 2. With that in mind many fans have noticed the lack of villains present in The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Here is my suggestion to what other villains they should add within the film.

Hello Everyone, after the huge success of the release of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 trailer many fans are excited for this film. They have also pegged the question of, where are the villains? We have Rhino, Electro, and Green Goblin. The problem is, having three villains in a movie is not good enough. We also know it's possible for a film to undergo reshoots and story changes in the middle production. This what the film needs, more villains. Without further ado here is my list of what other villains should appear.

BIG WHEEL

Famously seen in "Spider-Man: The Animated Series", Big Wheel was a giant rolling wheel of terror and mayhem. The reason for this choice is that it could easily be CGI'ed in within the movie with added destruction effects. Maybe a cameo of the Big Wheel rolling down New York while Spider-Man fights Electro. Wouldn't that be awesome?

HYDRO-MAN

One of Spider-Man's most dangerous foes who is made out of water! How scary can that be. I have a scene in mind for Hydro-Man that would easily work in The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Peter is getting some tap water to drink then suddenly a hand forms from the water and grabs him pushing him back. Then a whole bunch of water sprays out and it forms into this guy. Then he suddenly disappears in thin air and Peter contemplates the idea of calling the local mental hospital on himself until he snaps out of it and remembers he is Spider-Man!

KINGPIN

Well how can Kingpin possibly appear in this if Marvel has the rights now? Well there is a way around this that can be easy. Uncle Ben was really The Kingpin.
___________________________________________________________

ZOMBIE LIZARD

Well can't Lizard's regenerate right? Okay granted to say Lizard comes back to life and terrorizes Peter's nightmares like Freddy Kruger. Then the Lizard haunts Gwen Stacey and these other kids. Then it turns into this small "Nightmare on Elm Street" type subplot where they have to defeat the evil nightmare Lizard. It is a last minute plot that could easily be written in even a few days before release.

GREY GOBLIN

Well their is a Hobgoblin and Green Goblin but there is also a Grey Goblin, interesting fact eh. Well yeah this is another character which could easily be CGI'ed in. Just have Grey Goblin go whoosh and fly right by Spider-Man their a one second cameo! I don't even know who the Grey Goblin is just found it on Wikipedia.

SCARECROW

No not Batman's Scarecrow, Marvel's Scarecrow. YES, Marvel has a villain named Scarecrow! What you think I'm kidding? So yeah I was thinking they could borrow clips from the movie Batman Begins because Marvel's Scarecrow looks a whole lot like DC Comic's own version and they could blend it in the movie in these random segments that make no sense at all. Then you have this subplot where Scarecrow is just getting high on this gas and seeing all these strange things is what I am imagining.

TINKERER

Oh that would be easy to explain. Uncle Ben was not only the Kingpin but he was also the Tinkerer! There just have someone say that line in the movie and everything is suddenly explained in a blink of an eye!
___________________________________________________________

SPIDER-SLAYERS

Well um just create CGI clones of that Rhino bot thing and paint it in different colors and you got your Spider-Slayers!
___________________________________________________________

THE SPOT

Everyone's favorite villain from "Spider-Man: The Animated Series" was definitely The Spot! How can he make an appearance? Well he could be easily CGI'ed in also. You know what I almost forgot this movie needs, comedy and lots of laughs! So I was thinking a cameo where he punches Spider-Man in the balls causing him excruciating pain then disappears. Oh gosh the entire audience would be a laugh riot! No how about the Spot terrorizes him at the most random times with nut punches throughout the movie. Peter could be at the library and *BAM!*. He could be walking down a street and *BAM!*. He could be web swinging and *BAM!*.

LIGHTMASTER

Spider-Man looks up at the sky and a big bright ball of light comes hurling down to the Earth. Suddenly it is realized to be Lightmaster! He knocks Spider-Man out with one punch then Spider-Man wakes up in another reality he must escape!

KANGAROO

Cause Kangaroo's are awesome. Come on guys he is some guy in a Kangaroo costume that would totally be trippy and funny. Isn't this movie a comedy right?

Absolutely, yes to the Spot. I would be rolling on the theater floor. And it would probably tick off a certain Spiderman fanboy, which would just be an added bonus.

The spot punching him in the balls randomly is a stupidly funny idea haha. I don't know why the Spot didn't just create a portal beneath Kingpin or beneath the guards holding his love interest captive.

Not enough villains??? Seriously??? 3 is not enough???
It was too many for Spider-Man 3 and now people say there's not enough??? With expectations like this and the clusterf**k the Man of Steel sequel has become, I can see the CBM genre going down the proverbial crapper.
