New SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME Clip Sees Mysterio Make The Save As Hyrdro-Man Attacks

The cast of Spider-Man: Far From Home appeared on the Jimmy Kimmel Show last night, and they brought a brand new clip from the highly-anticipated sequel with them. See Mysterio in action after the jump...

The first clip from Spider-Man: Far From Home saw Peter Parker (Tom Holland) officially introduced to Quentin Beck (Jake Gyllenhaal), and in this latest sneak peek from the Spidey sequel, the young hero gets to see his new ally(?) in action as Mysterio.

The clip starts off with Hydro-Man attacking while Peter and his classmates are nearby. Parker manages to get his friends to safety and attempts to tackle the Elemental head-on, but is quickly incapacitated. Things look bleak, but before the villain can land another blow, Mysterio flies in to make the save.

Check out the clip below and let us know what you think. The audio is lousy, but we'll update as soon as a better version is available.

Our friendly neighborhood Super Hero decides to join his best friends Ned, MJ, and the rest of the gang on a European vacation. However, Peter’s plan to leave super heroics behind for a few weeks are quickly scrapped when he begrudgingly agrees to help Nick Fury uncover the mystery of several elemental creature attacks, creating havoc across the continent!

Spider-Man: Far From Home swings into theaters on July 2.

@jerryblake - Right? It was so obvious. How did Mysterio suddenly come along out of nowhere? BECK is a talented liar.

@Spagett - dude just save yourself the trouble. According to actual scientific research people actually have a better experience having stories spoiled. Just enjoy what marvel is officially releasing.

Is it just me, or is it kinda early to be releasing clips? And they're doing promo tours now too?

Guys, it's May. We haven't even hit June yet, lol.

Marvel released a great clip of Professor Hulk on Twitter and YouTube yesterday telling people to go see Avengers Endgame. I'm on my cell phone not by computers so I can't post it :)

That shot of him leaping from pole to pole looked a little weird. It’s a stunt that they filmed with a wire rig and a harness, and it looks like it. He’s moving kinda slowly, his back is perfectly straight, and he doesn’t have much bounce.

Hydro-Man was definitely a standout villain in Spider-Man: TAS. I liked that he was a psycho-stalker for MJ instead of just a thug with water powers.

@soberchimera - I have bad news. Here he won't even have a human face.
