Srsly, Sony, just let the rights reverts back to Marvel. Let Whedon direct include some sickkkk avengers refs and it's an automatic TRILLION dollars. BEAT THAT, DC!

Not that big of a fan of the new series. I mean, I'll give this movie a shot because it's a rehash of an origin. That's likely the reason I did not seem to enjoy Amazing. I hope this is good as much as the rest of you but it honestly does seem like they have a lot to fit into the narrative.

No reason to have the rights revert to Marvel Studios. I don't want Spidey involved in the Avengers films. He is too big of a star to be lumped into a group flick. Marvel already has the Ultimate Spider-Man animated show for that.

There are too many great stories, too many fantastic characters and too many possibilities for them to give it back to Marvel.

It would be a waste of it's potential.

Spidey is the James Bond of comic characters. So So much has gone on that they can turn him into a 24 plus film franchise (especially since the last story actually written by Fleming was used a long while back).

Oh and who does the Bond films? That's right.
