The following vids come from the (now wrapped) Woodside, Queens set of The Amazing Spider-Man and give us a better look at Uncle Ben(martin Sheen)'s last walk, and his nephew Peter's reaction to hearing the gun shots which end his life..

You have seen the still photos of these takes, or ones very like them before but it's nice to see the actors actually acting.

Why are they re-writing Ben death. I like the CB version. Even though Raimi ruined it in S3.

Wow...that's the most uncaring nephew I've ever seen. No anger, no concern...just hey what was that noise...Oh...Uncle Ben was shot.

@Jimdlux

You do realize that the reaction wasn't to seeing his Uncle dying right??

He heard the noise and is confused/curious as to where the noise came from.

Its pretty obvious he doesn't know that his Uncle is shot yet.

I swear I expected a comment like this...sigh...not trying to bag on you but please give it a thought before posting a negative reaction just because you expect every single bit of this movie to be bad.

Intruder Yeah, this an open set production. No one recognizes anyone in the movie so they don't care. I was thinking about going down there and making a cameo. Maybe throw up some rabbit ears or something.

Don't try this on the set of TDKR though. I hear Nolan has Snipers on the roof.

I second @TheSymbiote ... I think that with Andrew being a very good actor the actual scene is going to be very dramatic

...and as uncle Ben lays in young Peter's arms, with his last breathe he says, "...that was pretty wizard, wasn't it son?"

@puyguy

For Thor, the entire town was a set. The entire movie was filmed in just sets, no public locations. At least I think so.

This movie has scenes shot in sets and real locations, so its kinda obvious why people can spot.

But to people that are complaining they have seen too much.......we've only seen swinging and this scene. And a couple others.

If you really think about it, we have barely seen any of the proper content of the movie. Nothing about Lizard, any proper fight scenes or anything. None involving Van Atter. Nothing with Dr Connors and his family. Just Spidey in costume and a couple scenes with Andrew Garfield outside.

Its not like Uncle Ben's death, a couple shots of Peter talking to Dr Connors, or Spidey swinging are spoilers.

So true that is Godzilafart and all I can do is think ,"will There EVER be a "True" Spider-Man Movie"? Notice how I said, "True"? lol.

But yeah I think u and everyone else gets the point. Well looks lie no "Carange, King Pin, Electro, Shocker, Black Cat, Mysterio and many other villians, as camos by: Matt Murdock/DearDevil, Blade, Tony Stark/Iron Man... Icould go on and tell u my story of: Spider-Man 4 and tell you guys, the many ideas I have 4 it! But I won't; becasue that's the kind-of-guy I am. lol

He's only doing Peter Garfield's stunts. They have a Spider-man stunt-man for the other stuff. Sorry.

uhhhh where's spider-man's spider-sense?? shouldn't he know about the gun shots before they go off??

@croniccris I think Spidey Sense only kicks in when it's him directly in danger.

Ummm...any body else wonder why Spidey's reaction time is so slow? Or is that just an editing thing later on?

Also can we please not have Uncle Ben on his cellphone in the movie? Just doesn't seem right...

I've got to say I'm still skeptical. With every comic book movie we've seen in the making so far this year, the suit is the one thIng that is always kept completely under wraps until the studio is ready to release a promo image, yet with this movie they are flaunting it. I know they are doing the outside stunts but still....I still wonder whether they are holding something back, they're playing us...I still think another suit is pending...After all, it really wouldn't be much of a stretch to give us that one well lit image of the initial suit just to throw everyone off...Even with the addition of outside shooting, no other movie has revealed this much?

Why is Peter dressed like a tool?

As much as I'm excited about this movie it seems to me that the leads are dressing up like that to advertise those clothes.

"Dress in Hot Topic, Spider-Man does!"

Wait?! They're filming in New York or São Paulo? Pay attention on the cab that pass through in the first video!

Edited Scene
Ben is on a stroll. *pan up to peter
peter is i guess sipping chocolate milk....like a bad ass.
Ben gets shot (not by the god damn sandman)
peter looks over. *wide shot of peter jumping off
peter runs to the body. he starts to cry (Andrew will do fantastically of course)
he looks up in anger and tears. he runs to the other end of the alley.
pulls mask out of pocket and takes off jacket.
end scene.
