Superman comic and Smallville TV scribe Jeph Loeb says the rumors of Tom Welling being in the big screen film are bunk.

Jeph Loeb, Superman comic writer and Smallville producer, says talk of TV star Tom Welling playing the Man of Steel in Bryan Singer's upcoming film aren't true.

The Smallville series is slated for six seasons which would push back production on the Superman film for two years, and that's not going to happen, Loeb told Bluetights.net.
