A representative from Event Cinemas has informed the Superman Homepage that the teaser trailer for "Man of Steel" will NOT screen in front of "The Dark Knight Rises" screenings until 2.00pm (Australian Time Zone) Friday, July 20 due to Warner Bros. wanting it to be a worldwide release in conjunction with the USA release.
The people that will be most affected by this news are moviegoers in countries like Australia, New Zealand and a few others that have openings on Thursday July 19th. Also anyone that is attending an early screening of
The Dark Knight Rises on July 20th in that part of the world are also out of luck. Two o'clock Australian time is the same as midnight eastern standard time in America, so early screenings in the states will not be affected.
