Kevin Spacey, who teamed with Superman director Bryan Singer in The Usual Suspects, confirmed he's talked with Singer about taking the role of Lex Luthor. He gave no details other than to tell IESB that he'd love to work with Singer on any role but his job as Artistic Director fo the Old Vic theater in London keeps him very busy.

Meanwhile, there's word that the Metropolis in the film will be art deco (ala the look and feel of the Golden Age Superman). Filming on the picture, starring Brandon Routh as Clark Kent/Superman, is set to begin in Australia March 1.
