JOE AND IRIS GET TO KNOW WALLY — Now that they’ve grown closer, Barry (Grant Gustin) considers telling Patty (guest star Shantel VanSanten) that he is The Flash. Meanwhile, Joe (Jesse L. Martin) and Iris (Candice Patton) try to get to know Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale), and the team hunts down a meta-human who can slow time itself. Rob Hardy directed the episode written by Bryan Q. Miller.

Interesting. I can't think of a villain who can slow time. I'm sure I can be proven wrong.

My only real guess is that this is sort of a reinvention of Turtle/Turtle Man.

Zoom really needs to start doing...really anything at this point. He was such a let down during the first half. Sure he beat up Barry, woop-de-doo, you know who else has beat up Barry: PRETTY MUCH EVERY [frick]ING VILLAIN ON THIS SHOW!!! Zoom needs a better hook than that.

@FishyZombie: Did you recognized that Flash has following the same story structure as Arrow ? A guy with special skills struggles with balancing his superhero life and normal life, and faces the main villain with the same skill set. The villain dies, who has somehow cheated death, and is still alive.

If my claim is right, then Joe west will die, and Barry will be training Wally.

After they had the balls to use Rainbow Raider, I would be lying if I said that I hadn't been expecting him at some point. I just wasn't sure if they actually would! I can't believe that we're the only two to mention him........................

Wouldn't Zoom be one such villain?

Considering his "speed" is from actually slowing time around him giving the effect of superspeed as opposed to running really fast like the other speedsters?

Technically, yes, it could be Zoom but the fact that they specifically described the abilities as "slowing time" vs "time manipulation" leads me to believe that it's the Turtle.

@loki668 I figured if they do him they will sort of revamp his power set. Sort of like how they're doing for Negasonic Teenage Warhead in Deadpool. I think it makes sense that Turtle Man would be able to slow down time. Question is...will they call him Turtle Man. That is a pretty terrible name that literally strikes no fear at all in anyone.

@YouDontKnowMe It could be but we've seen Zoom quite a few times and they'd call him Zoom. This is obviously a new villain.

@PesciGotPepsi: Hello again! There are some television shows, comic based or otherwise, that I'm not fond of or hate as well. But if that's the case I don't watch them and don't try to ruin people's enjoyment just because they like a show that I don't. Now, I'm not telling you to stop posting in these Flash threads. You can do whatever you want and voice your opinion. All I'll say is that it's a New Year, and maybe you should ignore what might not be to your liking and not being as negative.
