Marvel's "Thor: The Dark World" continues the big-screen adventures of Thor, the Mighty Avenger, as he battles to save Earth and all the Nine Realms from a shadowy enemy that predates the universe itself. In the aftermath of Marvel's "Thor" and "Marvel's The Avengers," Thor fights to restore order across the cosmos…but an ancient race led by the vengeful Malekith returns to plunge the universe back into darkness. The first hour of this film was perfect, but then it went downhill... I think the next Thor film should be set completely off-Earth.

i usually hate cinema sins, but im glad they are finally giving this pile of shit a talking down to, even if it is just useless nit picking, thor 2 is awful, for the villain alone. One of my most hated Comic book films

I don't get the hate for this film. I liked it better than Thor 1, which is all I can hope for from a sequel.

I don't really get the hate either. Sure, it's not the strongest in the MCU, but I liked it well enough. :)

Thor TDW was better than Thor but it still had problems. Main problem: sidekick-ception and their stupid one liners. I don't say no to humor but it has to be more clever than that imo.

I thought it was gonna be the best Phase 2 film but man I was wrong. IM3 is better than this movie. The worst MCU film.
Way too short
Undeveloped characters, didn't care what happened to them
Worst villain ever
Comedy in places there shouldn't be
The movie is so rushed that I didn't giva shit when characters died

Only good scene is the Captain America cameo, that was genius

Thor 2 was awesome.

Since Thor was easily the weakest Phase 1 film I was pleasently surprised by Thor 2.

Avengers, Captain America and Iron Man are the only 3 MCU movies I feel are better.

this whole film was just a bit [frick]ing convenience, this was the weaker link in phase two, just like it was in phase one

Thor 2 has a lot of problems, especially on the editing part and the out of place humor

But atleast it was entertaining for the most part

Now finally ppl who worship Thor 2 finally see it's problems it had

A lot of the "problems" were ridiculous, why were the portals everywhere for no reason? Thats what happens during the conversion as was stated earlier in the movie. The cell phone was getting reception through a portal in the cave so that makes sense. The illusion of Frigga's was obviously complex and lifelike. Odin (hopefully) is not dead but in the Odinsleep. Chris Odowd love interest is now a cliche? I didn't even think that guy had been famous long enough for that. How could Malekith possibly use the aether with no limbs? Is he just gonna lash out wildly? Or maybe fly on a stream of it? Ridiculous. Thor 2 was a good movie, the Loki and Thor banter was awesome and worth ticket price alone. I cant understand why it has become popular to hate thor 2, you would think its Justin Beiber its so popular to hate on.
