Critically acclaimed writer Jason Aaron and rising star artist Russell Dauterman continue the epic tale of the new God of Thunder, and her unworthy predecessor. An army of massive Frost Giants have invaded Midgard, sowing destruction and chaos in their wake. The Odinson lays battered and broken at the hands of Malekith the Accursed, unable to wield his mighty hammer. To save us all, a new Thor will rise. And she may be the world’s only hope. Can she stave off the darkness? Or will she be consumed by it? On the bellow of thunder and the crack of lightning, a new Thor is born. See her in action for the first time this November in the highly anticipated THOR #2!

Now this asshole wearing Thor's arm around his neck. Damn fool. I wonder what Odin will of a woman being able to lift Mjolnir and not him.

Seems alright.
I never really read Thor, regardless.

The only thing that's weirding me out is that new logo and the lack of the O's inner ring.

Upside down triangle of orbs over her womb? Classic occult symbolism for women right there. Why put that on a 'Thor' representative though? That's a water symbol and Thor is 'god of thunder' I understand it's symbolism for a 'goddess', I guess that's what he/she is now? kinda like baphomet and is a mix of both genders. I'm not feeling the design here. I'd rather them use ambiguous made up religious symbols. Or at least keep it within the framework of the 'Thor' foundation. And her shoes just look weird. I understand where they are going with it but......eh. She is all over the map here.

I wonder how Malekith chops off Thor's arm? Bearded Thor is the best!

@Ramiel a Frost Giant holds him and stretches out his. Malekith takes Thor's axe and slices off the arm since Thor "doesn't have Mjolnir and only needs 1 arm".

Then he left Thor to drown in ocean.

@Spock0Clock no. If Odin couldn't even lift it, she wouldn't be able to.

Plus with all the twisted sneaky stuff she doing, she definitely not worthy to pick up Mjolnir

Sif should be promoted more instead of gender bending Thor. She's a strong character and easily Marvel's answer to Wonder Woman. This is lame.

First thor gets beatup by angela now Let's see grow beard cut off arm. It reminds me of aquaman, and that was a failure. Time to reboot thor, writers are digging him into a ditch.

Let's see:
Nonfunctional armor: check
Leg warmers: check
Horrible artwork: check
Identity dependent(subordinate) to a male character: check

Looks like the usual trash the comic industry calls a female main character.
