THUNDERBOLTS* Set Photos Reveal A First Look At Ghost's New Costume And Glimpse Of Yelena Belova

Marvel Studios' Thunderbolts* is now shooting and some admittedly not-very-good set photos have today found their way online. We're guessing these have been shared freely because even better versions are being sold to the usual celebrity-focused websites, but the Instagram gallery below still contains some significant talking points.

For starters, we get to see Hannah John-Kamen's new Ghost costume and that thing certainly isn't white anymore! The design is similar but now appears to be black (or dark grey). Unfortunately, her helmet hasn't been spotted.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Geraldine Viswanathan were also on set, as was Florence Pugh's Yelena Belova. Louis-Dreyfus reprises her role as Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, the CIA boss with questionable motivations and an apparent desire to take control of The Sentry if what we've been hearing is accurate. Viswanathan is thought to be her assistant.

"I was relieved," John-Kamen said in 2022 when she was asked how it felt to finally be invited back to the MCU. "I was like, 'Great, I can come back and figure out more about Ava and Ghost and how she's going to work in a team.'"

As for Red Guardian actor David Habour (who has yet to be spotted on the set of Thunderbolts*), he'd add to that by saying, "There's a lot of really exciting work happening on this movie. I also think it's a unique MCU movie in the sense that you've got a bunch of misfits and outcasts and losers and people who don't really live up to the super in superhero."

"And also all of us are such cool, interesting performers - I think audiences have some complicated feelings about a lot of us - and I think that's a terrific thing going in."

Take a closer look at these new Thunderbolts* set photos in the Instagram post below.

Confirmed cast members for Thunderbolts* include Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, Florence Pugh as Yelena Boleva, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, David Harbour as Red Guardian, Wyatt Russell as U.S. Agent, Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost, and Olga Kurylenko as Taskmaster.

Recently, Geraldine Viswanathan replaced Ayo Edebiri in an undisclosed role, while Lewis Pullman has taken over as The Sentry following Steve Yeun's shock departure from the movie. Both he and Edebiri are said to have left due to scheduling issues.

Written by Eric Pearson, Lee Sung Jin, and Joanna Calo, and directed by Jake Schreier, Thunderbolts* is currently set to be released in theaters on May 2, 2025.

So excited for this one
More than cap4. I'd care more for cap4 if it were a mini avengers. But it's sounding like I should lower my expectations. I hope reshoots make it more exciting than just Sam and new falcon taking on Ross with a serum

@Vigor - Sam going against The Leader is what excites me there

Having him as this underdog and seeing how he can outmaneuver or even outsmart a super genius like Sterns should be fun.

@TheVisionary25 - I'm sure it'll be captivating for some. I've just never been excited about cerebral villains like the leader or lex luthor. My caveman brain likes punches and kicks lol

Even though this movie isn't out and is still being worked on I'll call this trash because I have nothing better to do with my day and nothing that brings me joy in life

@ItsNotForMeWahh - Some people just fear joy. Imagine waking up and having the choice to go online and geek out about something you enjoy or go online and complain about stuff you dislike, and you choose negativity, lol...what kinda of life is that?

@DarkeyeZ - One that is just a downward spiral of dissatisfaction and hate.

It is ok to be upset with the current state of things but if it isn't bringing you joy walk away instead of incessant whining. Such snowflakes
