TITANS Live-Action TV Series Adds TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES Actor Alan Ritchson As Hawk

Deadline reports that Alan Ritchson (Smallville, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) has joined the cast of the upcoming live-action Titans TV series as Hank Hall, a.k.a. Hawk.

That Hashtag Show actually broke the news that Hawk would feature on the show last week, and mentioned that Ritchson was up for the role. They also reckon DC is interested in Rebecca Rittenhouse (The Mindy Project) for Dove, so that's definitely worth keeping an eye on.

This small-screen take on Hawk is described as "an aggressive, offensive bruiser", while Dove is "strategic, defensive and lithe." It'll be a recurring role with an option to become a regular later on, and producers are also said to be thinking about a potential Hawk and Dove spinoff.

Ritchson's Hawk joins Dick Grayson (Brenton Thwaites), Starfire (Anna Diop), and Raven (Teagan Croft). Beast Boy has yet to be cast.

UPDATE: Deadline has now added that Friday Night Lights alumna Minka Kelly has been tapped to play Dove.
