The Sopranos have some competition from the Snows! Last night's season three finale had an incredible 5.4 million viewers; a huge increase from the 4.2 million who tuned in for season two's final episode last year (that's an increase of around 28%). Not only does this mean that this Game of Thrones episode was the second highest rated of the season, but it has now become the second most watched HBO series in history. On average, season three of Game of Thrones averaged a gross audience of 13.6 million from network airings, on demand, HBO Go and DVR; that's also an increase of over 2 million from season two.
