We recently got confirmation that a first look at some footage (whether that means a full trailer remains to be seen) from Netflix's live-action Cowboy Bebop adaptation will debut during tomorrow's Tudum online event, and the streamer has now shared the first official key art in anticipation.

The poster features our heroes Spike Spiegel (John Cho), Jet Black (Mustafa Shakir), and Faye Valentine (Daniella Pineda) striking very gunslinger-esque poses as they stand on the edge of town. Their ship, the Bebop, can also be seen hurtling across the sky, and the design appears to be pretty similar to the the anime version.

A teaser for The Sandman is also expected to debut during Tudum, so there's a chance we might see a first official poster or still later on today. Keep an eye out for updates!

"Cowboy Bebop is an action-packed space Western about three bounty hunters, aka cowboys, all trying to outrun the past. As different as they are deadly, Spike Spiegel (John Cho), Jet Black (Mustafa Shakir), and Faye Valentine (Daniella Pineda) form a scrappy, snarky crew ready to hunt down the solar system’s most dangerous criminals — for the right price. But they can only kick and quip their way out of so many scuffles before their pasts finally catch up with them."

We recently learned that anime composer Yoka Kano, who has worked on the likes of Vision of Escaflowne, Ghost in the Shell: Standalone Complex, Turn A Gundam, Macross Plus, and more, will be creating the soundtrack.

Cowboy Bebop will be exec produced and written by Christopher Yost (Thor), who will also serve as showrunner along with Andre Nemec, Josh Appelbaum, Jeff Pinkner and Scott Rosenberg of Midnight Radio; Marty Adelstein and Becky Clements of Tomorrow Studios; Yasuo Miyakawa, Masayuki Ozaki, and Shin Sasaki of Sunrise Inc. Watanabe is on board as a consultant.
